Kristi Holler

Music is what has brought us together. Although music is something I do because I sing, play piano, compose and arrange songs, music is also the means through which I communicate best all that I feel so deeply about.  My hope is that my music touches you the way I am touched by its powerful presence in my life.

I began playing piano at the age of 7 under the instruction of my grandmother, and began writing songs when I was 13. My story is no different from many other singer/songwriters; you know, playing at coffee houses, colleges, art festivals, churches, you name it, I played it. I love every moment I spend with music even if it means singing for the sole audience of my Shetland Sheepdog, Kody.  You will notice from the CD’s, Kody is pictured on several of the covers.

I began producing and recording my own CD’s in the year 2000 and have recently released my latest, "The Color of October" 2011.  My music is inspirational and the lyrics express the tension between our human struggle and quest to answer questions of purpose, faith, and the presence of God (as we know God) in the light and dark moments of our journey through life.

Music and theology are comfortable (and sometimes uncomfortable) companions that weave compelling stories and poetry of my faith journey as best I can tell it. Music and theology, in my life, are inseparable, because Love is at the heart of both.   Kristi
